In the theoretical part, basic terms are defined and discipline is described from the perspective of several important theories. The work focuses on the difference in the perception of discipline and indiscipline through the eyes of the main actors of the educational process, on current manifestations of indiscipline and its causes. For this qualitative research, I used the semi- standardized interview method. The interviews took place face-to-face at two primary schools - Roztoky u Prahy, Kralupy nad Vltavou. Other interviews were obtained remotely through online interviews. Due to the smaller research sample, the results cannot be generalized, but they can be the beginning of a larger and longer-term research.
